Sixth Generation

The one that nailed it — and the one that said goodbye.

An all-new, lighter Alpha-platform car (shared with the Cadillac ATS/CTS): the first turbo-four Camaro since the Iron Duke, and the most powerful Camaro SS ever built at launch (455 hp). The ZL1 topped out at a supercharged 650 hp and out-lapped the Corvette ZR1's old benchmark at the Nürburgring.

Production ended in January 2024. The send-off “Collector's Edition” deliberately referenced the car's own 1966 code name, “Panther.” No gas successor was announced.
