Goodbye — with a nod to “Panther”
Production ends; the Collector's Edition references the car's own 1966 code name.
GM confirmed in March 2023 that Camaro production would end after 2024, with no gas successor. The send-off “Collector's Edition” deliberately referenced the car's internal development code name, “Panther.” The last convertible was built November 22, 2023; the very last Camaro — a Summit White ZL1 coupe with the ZL1 1LE package and a 6-speed manual — rolled off the Lansing Grand River line December 14, 2023. No successor is confirmed; an electric “Camaro” remains rumor only.
