2019 Camaro — The controversial facelift — and Turbo 1LE

The 2019 refresh reshaped the front end (a larger grille, a “flowtie” open-bowtie emblem on SS) to mixed reception. The bigger enthusiast story: the 1LE track package reached the 2.0 L turbo-four for the first time — completing the 1LE's journey from a single-digit-production third-gen secret to a package spanning the whole lineup.

The powertrain and identification notes below preserve configuration and model-year boundaries rather than treating every 2019 Camaro alike. Ratings use the measurement convention of their period, and visual cues are only a starting point: the VIN, factory labels, drivetrain identifiers, and surviving documentation should agree.
