Advertising and affiliate links
CamaroFacts is free to read. Ads and affiliate links pay for it, and this page says where each one can appear.
Ads
The year and generation pages, the people, racing, rare-car and story pages, and the buying guide each carry one Google AdSense ad unit, below the article. On the decoder pages it sits under the result, not beside the tool. The homepage, search, the gallery, the sources and scope pages, the family, community, factory-documents and corrections pages, and this page and the other site-information pages carry no ads.
Google picks the individual ads, and we don't see the information it uses to choose them. How Google's cookies work, and how to turn personalized ads off, is in the privacy policy.
Affiliate links
Product recommendations can appear below the article on the year and generation pages, the people, racing, rare-car and story pages, and the buying guide. The homepage, the decoders, search, the gallery and the site-information pages never carry them. A page shows at most three, and only products chosen for that page. When none have been chosen, the page shows none rather than filling the space.
Each recommendation links to the product's own page on Amazon and carries its own affiliate disclosure. CamaroFacts is in the Amazon Associates program. As an Amazon Associate, CamaroFacts earns from qualifying purchases. A purchase costs you nothing extra.
What the money doesn't change
Commission never affects which products are recommended, how they are described or ranked, or any published fact. No advertiser or retailer reviews or approves a page before it's published. Figures come from GM's paperwork and the other sources each page lists, and they would read the same if the site carried no ads at all.
