All-new Alpha platform
Lighter, sharper — the turbo-four returns and the SS becomes the most powerful ever built.

It brought the first turbocharged four-cylinder Camaro since the Iron Duke (275 hp — more than triple the old four), and an SS with the C7 Corvette's 6.2 L LT1 at 455 hp: the most powerful Camaro SS ever built at launch.
