The 1LE returns — and a Hot Wheels Camaro
The track-focused 1LE package comes back on the SS, reviving the third/fourth-gen lineage.
For 2013 the 1LE package returned on the Camaro SS, reviving the near-secret third/fourth-generation track-package lineage: a dedicated 6-speed manual with a 3.91 final drive, staggered 20-inch forged wheels on 285-width Goodyear tires, a strut tower brace, monotube rear shocks and bigger anti-roll bars — aimed, like the original, at SCCA competition.
2013 also brought the Hot Wheels Edition (Kinetic Blue, 21-inch black wheels, RS appearance package, Hot Wheels badging) — a pop-culture special trading on the toy brand, a neat bookend to the film/toy crossover era Bumblebee began.
