25th Anniversary — the third generation says goodbye
A Heritage Edition, the biggest 1LE year, and the 50th Trans-Am win.
The third generation's farewell brought the 25th Anniversary Heritage Edition (double hood/decklid striping, a callback to the 1969 stripe treatment), the biggest 1LE year (705 — more than the previous four combined), and the milestone 50th SCCA Trans-Am victory. It also closed out Camaro production at Van Nuys before the fourth generation consolidated at Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec.
