The oddball luxury Berlinetta bows out after 1986.
1986 was the final year for the Berlinetta, the gadget-laden luxury trim carried all the way from the second generation; its comfort role passed to the LT and, later, the RS. 192,219 Camaros were built.
The IROC-Z, introduced for 1985, continued as Chevrolet's showcase for Tuned Port Injection.
